After being completely asleep at the wheel as head of the New York Federal Reserve from 2003-2009, Geithner not only missed the warning signs of the expanding credit bubble but actually facilitated the tidal wave that was about to crash America. Somehow this guy is then nominated and confirmed as Secretary of Treasury by President Obama. Only in Government does failure put you right in line for a promotion. Or is there something more to Timmy Geithner?
Geithner as it turns out works for very powerful people, and I'm not talking about the American people. Remember those Wise Men who "advised" President Lyndon Johnson? Well, here we find them again, directly controlling America's finances with their well placed man. Tim Geithner got his first job from global elitist Henry Kissinger at Kissinger Associates. From here, Geithner was put on a path of education directly counter to our American Republic ideals. His acumen and brain for finances helped him rise through various finance positions where he was eventually given entrance to the Council on Foreign Relations, that who's who of international global elites.
It may just be coincidence that after he became intimate buddies with his CFR comrades, Geithner landed a peach of a job at the International Monetary Fund, another organization you can research yourself but needless to say, not a promoter of freedom, liberty and prosperity for the individual like you and me.
Geithner ends up getting hired by Obama to be our Secretery of Treasury. Did we mention that Obama's first job out of college was also for Henry Kissinger's firm? Are all the people in power positions just good old friends?
Oh and by the way, Geithner is the top economic man in our government but apparently doesn't know how to do his taxes. During his confirmation hearing it was determined that he owed $35,000 in back taxes because of "filing errors". Not sure if that is more condemning of him or the tax code… you decide.
